It took me AGES to understand that worship is different for everyone. I'm not a morning worshiper. Waking me up at 4:30am to pray is not of God. Lol. I hated that I couldn't stick to daily early morning Joyce Meyer devotionals for women. I hated that my prayers sounded a lot like my conversations with friends; wayyy to casual for Jesus. My prayers were absent of all the popular prayer phrases, subbed with "Lord God" every two words, paraphrased with my versions of the scripture and full of nervous and EXTREMELY loud heartbeats every time I was asked to end the fellowship night or kick off family dinners. Truth is, I probably won't run around the pulpit (I'm more of a hand raiser, stay in my seat type) and I probably won't read the entire bible in 365 days. One scripture might be my theme for the ENTIRE year if necessary. That's ok. Jesus still loves me. Lol. My full on gospel concerts in the shower and bible audiobooks in the car be poppin'. Lol. Stop making it difficult. Let your worship be great! What other people do works for them because that's their relationship. Your love language to God may be different and while we all have the same agenda and end goal (supposedly), how we get there and/or execute it will be like no one else's.. Your praise is personal. You'll find it.
